Every morning before I read my Bible, I pray.  First, I confess my sins, and then I begin to thank Him for everything He has done for me.

An interesting thing happened the other day while I was praising Him for His many blessings.  As I began to thank Him for one thing, it led to another, and then another and then another.  As I named each blessing, I thought of something else to praise Him for!  Most of my prayer that day was a prayer of Thanksgiving!  Throughout the rest of the day, as the Lord showed me other things He has blessed me with, I would simply say, 

"Thank you, Lord."  

I could never thank Him for everything He has done for me in one day.  I could never thank Him for everything He has done for me in two days.

It will take me all of eternity to thank the Lord for everything He has done for me.

    It will take all of eternity for you too, to thank Him...

        But that's just me!

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts, which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.  Psalm 40:5
